Travel Grants (The application process is now closed)
All grant recipients have been notified. We are sorry if we were not able to offer you a travel grant...
We want to see you in Arusha in 2011! The meeting organisers are doing everything to ensure that as many travel grants as needed will be available, but we will unlikely have enough funds to meet the funding needs of everyone.
We strongly encourage you to start early with identifying additional sources of funding.
Priority to receive travel grants will given to:
- students presenting a poster or talk (you MUST submit an abstract before 20 March)
- students from developing countries
- paying ATBC and/or SCB Members (Become a member TODAY!)
- presenters younger than 35 years or early career scientist
Additionally, Travel Grant sponsors may have their own eligibility criteria. The granting committee will work within these limitations to disburse grants to deserving candidates.
Complete an application form before 20 April 2011. Make sure you have submitted an abstract first!
We still don't have enough travel grants....
If you would like to support a student (or two, or three, or more) to attend the meeting, please contact loc(at)atbc-scbafrica2011(dot)org immediately. Also refer to our sponsorship prospectus.
