Childcare services available for the Meeting

Childcare services is kindly being provided by The Blue Heron, a local art centre cum restaurant. The centre is located 8 mins drive from Naura Springs Hotel and can be easily reached by Taxi Services (of by foot).

Childcare will be available from 9 am to 5 pm each day. Earlier start and later ending can be discussed directly with Kate. Contact the Blue Heron directly to make arrangements: theheron(at)ars.bol.co(dot)tz

The most suitable age for this service is 4 - 12 year olds. Click here to view the daily schedule of activities.

The cost for childcare is $45 per day or $180 for all four days. Price includes healthy food, snacks and drinks. 

Kate, a teacher from Newzeland will be taking care of the children with the help of two assistants. In the school year, Kate teaches children between 6 – 9 years at a private school in Arusha. For the most part, children will conduct all their activities at the Blue Heron, an Art centre with a large garden and perfect ambiance for children.

Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Education- Physical Education from Ballarat University in Australia in 2000. Since then she has been exploring the world and educational facilities, teaching in an array of schools in the UK and Korea. Her passion to teach in Africa brought her to Kenya and Tanzania in 2009, where she found herself teaching at The Learning Space. Her love for this school and this part of the world has kept her here nearly 2 years.
