Payment Options

1. Online via Credit Card

We accept payments with Visa, Mastercard or American Express cards. Simply copy and paste the total invoice amount generated by our online registration system into “Pay online by credit card” site.

ATBC MEMBERS: On the online payment site, please ignore the prompt asking you to enter your ATBC membership number. Type any number if you find yourself unable to proceed. 

IF PAYING FOR SOMEONE ELSE BY CREDIT CARD, send an email to the EVENTS ORGANISER AT eo(at)atbc-scbafrica2011(dot)org with the following information 1) NAME ON CARD, 2) FULL NAME OF PERSON YOU ARE PAYING FOR, and (3) THE RECEIPT OF PAYMENT that you receive after making the transaction.

Important Note: Due to several ongoing scams in which fake conferences are developed and emails are sent to participants prompting them to make their payments via Western Union money transfers, we will not be offering WU as a payment option. Please do not respond to emails claiming to be from this meeting asking you to make a WU transfer.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to the Event Organiser. Refunds of 75% of registration fees (excluding hotel bookings) will be given for cancellation requests received before 15 April 2011. From 15 April to 15 May, 50% refunds of registration fees will be reimbursed.

However, if you are canceling because your talk or poster was not accepted, you may request a full refund until two weeks after you were notified of the status of your presentation. No registration fee refunds will be offered after 15 May 2011.

If you have prepaid your hotel at the time of registration, you may request a full refund (minus a 10% processing fee) up until 15 May 2011, after which you may request a refund minus one night's room cost, and minus a 10% processing fee (i.e. 10% of the amount to be refunded).

All refunds will be made via bank transfer.
